The American promotion UFC has signed a contract with Brazilian athlete Alice Pereira, who just turned 19 six days ago.
UFC's executive director, Dana White, shared a video on his social media showing matchmaker Mick Maynard calling Pereira to inform her about the contract signing.
The date of Pereira's debut and her opponent, who will compete in the women's bantamweight division, have not been announced yet.
Pereira's last fight took place in December 2024 at Cage Masters FC 2, where she won against Samara Santos by unanimous decision. She has a record of six wins and no losses.
