The American mixed martial arts promotion UFC has released seven athletes, including top flyweight fighter Matheus Nicolau from Brazil.
According to MMA Fighting, the UFC also cut ties with Jessica Penne, Robelis Despaigne, Tamires Vidal, Vinicius Salvador, Charalampos Grigoriou, and Jesse Butler.
It's worth noting that the UFC Fight Night 246 event is scheduled to take place in Canada on the night of November 3, headlined by Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi.
