UFC President Dana White stated that the question of who Conor McGregor's next opponent will be will be addressed once it becomes clear that the former double champion is ready to return to the octagon.

McGregor's last fight took place against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. During that match, Conor suffered a technical knockout due to a leg injury. His professional record stands at 22 wins and six losses.
