UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who previously stated that UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones wanted $30 million to fight interim champion Tom Aspinall, called this information inaccurate.
Joe Rogan on his YouTube channel
I had heard a rumor that Jon Jones wanted $30 million to fight Tom Aspinall — and I did hear that rumor, and I did hear the UFC said yes, but it is not true. So Dana contacted me and said that rumor was bullshit, so I felt obligated to tell everybody that was a fake rumor.
Jones last fought in the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he defeated Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. His record stands at 28 wins, one loss, and one no contest.
