UFC president Dana White spoke out about the title fight between Russian Magomed Ankalaev and Pole Jan Blachowicz, which took place on December 11 in the main event of UFC 282.
Dana White
I thought the main event was terrible. Do I consider anyone a winner? I don't even know. I started to doze off already after the third round. What do you want me to do? You got beat up the first two rounds. You took him to the ground. What are you going to do? I told you before, you can't leave it up to the judges.
There was no winner revealed in the clash between Ankalaev and Blachowicz - a draw was fixed by separate decisions of the judges. Thus, the UFC light heavyweight title remained vacant.
In his last fight, held in July of this year, Ankalaev won by TKO in the second round over American Anthony Smith. Last May, Blachowicz defeated Austrian Aleksandar Rakić by TKO. Magomed has 17 wins and one defeat on his record. Jan has 29 wins and nine defeats on his record.
