UFC Hall of Fame member and former heavyweight champion of the promotion, American fighter Mark Coleman was hospitalized after a fire at his home in Ohio.
According to his daughter Morgan, a fire broke out early in the morning in their home. Their dog, Hammer, woke up Mark, who then helped his parents out of the house before going back in to save the dog. However, Coleman lost consciousness due to inhaling smoke and had to be rescued and airlifted to the hospital.
The 59-year-old Coleman's last fight was in February 2010, where he lost to Randy Couture by submission in the second round at UFC 109. He has 16 wins and ten losses in his career.
