UFC Hall of Fame member and former welterweight champion Pat Miletich was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
The mixed martial arts fighter was arrested early in the morning on September 14 in his hometown of Bettendorf, Iowa. A couple hours after his arrest, Miletich was released on $5,000 bail.
It's worth noting that this is the third drunk driving arrest for Miletich. Under Iowa law, a person convicted of a third offense of driving while intoxicated can face 30 days to five years in jail, fines ranging from $3,125 to $9,375, and a six-year license revocation.
Miletich's last UFC bout was in March 2002 against Matt Lindland. In that confrontation, Pat was defeated by technical knockout in the first round. He has 29 wins, seven losses and two draws on his record in mixed martial arts.
