Moroccan UFC fighter Youssef Zalal shared his thoughts about his upcoming bout against American Calvin Kattar, scheduled for February 16 at UFC Vegas 102.
Youssef Zalal for MMAJunkie
Obviously everyone knows who Calvin Kattar is. He’s been in the game for so long and been through so many crazy fights, so I’m definitely preparing for the best Calvin I can ever prepare for it. He’s going to be a very dangerous Calvin, and I’m excited for that puzzle.
Currently, Kattar is on a three-fight losing streak. In his most recent fight at UFC 300 in April 2024, he lost to Aljamain Sterling by unanimous decision. Kattar boasts a record of 23 wins and 8 losses.
Zalaal last entered the octagon in November 2024 at UFC Fight Night 246, where he defeated Jack Shore by choke in the second round. His record stands at 16 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw.
