UFC Fighter Oezdemir: If Ankalaev Uses Wrestling, It Will Be The End For Pereira

UFC light heavyweight division fighter Volkan Oezdemir in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net gave a prediction for the fight of Magomed Ankalaev against Alex Pereira.

"Jiri Prochazka has a history with Pereira. I don't think the stoppage in their first fight was an early stoppage. I think that fight with Magomed Ankalaev would be tougher for Pereira than with Prochazka. That's Alex's policy, for whom beating Prochazka is easier than beating Ankalaev," Oezdemir said.

The fight with Magomed will be harder. But I think Ankalaev is the next opponent for Pereira. Magomed is the only one who will use wrestling against Alex. Jiri and Jamahal Hill don't have wrestling skills. Ankalaev has a whole wrestling bloodline. The only one who tried to wrestle Pereira was Israel Adesanya, but he has a white belt. If Ankalaev uses wrestling, it will be the end for Pereira

Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev has 18 wins, one loss and one draw. His fight against Brazilian fighter Johnny Walker at UFC 294 was ruled a no contest.
