UFC Fighter Harris Suspended For Four Years After Failing Doping Test

American UFC heavyweight fighter Walt Harris has received a four-year suspension for a failed doping test in July 2023. He will not be able to return to fighting until July 2027.

Harris’ fight against Josh Parisian, which was scheduled to take place at UFC on ESPN 49, was canceled due to last year's failed doping test.

This is the second time Harris has failed a doping test, with the first incident occurring in December 2018. He defeated Andrei Arlovski by split decision in that fight, but the result was ultimately overturned.

Harris last stepped into the octagon against Marcin Tybura in June 2021 at UFC Fight Night 189, where he suffered a technical knockout loss in the first round. He currently has 13 wins and 10 losses.
