UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski of Australia and Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray held a joint workout.
Earlier, Volkanovski said he wants to have his next fight in January 2024.
Volkanovski, 34, last stepped into the octagon in July 2023 at UFC 290, defeating Yair Rodriguez by technical knockout in the third round. He has 26 wins and two losses on his record.
The next upcoming UFC 294 event will take place on October 21 in Abu Dhabi. In the main event of the evening, Russian fighter Islam Makhachev will fight Brazilian Charles Oliveira.
