UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev scoffs at the Baddest Motherf**er (BMF) belt that will be on the line for the fight between Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier.

Honestly, this belt is for the bums. First time, who [fought] for this belt? Diaz and Masvidal. The people who never can be champion. They give him some belt. Yes, be happy. Fight for BMF [laughs]. Honestly, [if] somebody give me this belt tomorrow, I don’t want this s***.
Remember, Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier will fight on July 29 at UFC 291. Also, the winner of this fight could be the next lightweight title contender.
The BMF title, the "Baddest mother***er" belt, was first awarded on November 2, 2019, after UFC 244 fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. In this fight, Jorge won by TKO in the third round (doctor's stoppage).
Makhachev, 31, had his last fight against Alex Volkanovski this past February at UFC 284. In this confrontation, Islam won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 24 wins and one loss on his record.
