UFC Heavyweight Champion, American fighter Jon Jones, has been accused of making threats towards an employee of Drug Free Sport International (DFSI) during a recent sample collection at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department report, the anti-doping officer reported that Jones was under the influence of alcohol and had taken her phone for some time. The incident report also mentions a court summons citing two offenses: assault and interference with communication.
Earlier, Jones posted on social media telling his version of the events.
Jones, 36, faced Frenchman Ciryl Gane in his last fight, which took place in March 2023 at UFC 285. In that confrontation, Jon won by submission (guillotine choke) in the first round and claimed the UFC heavyweight championship belt. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record.
