Current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill, scheduled for January 19 at UFC 311 in Los Angeles, USA.
Jon Jones for The Schmo
I think Jamahal Hill will win. Jiri has really unorthodox striking but Jamahal seems like the more technical and clean striker and I’m a big fan of basic techniques and Jamahal has a really strong basic and clean kickboxing style.
Prochazka last fought against Alex Pereira in June of this year at UFC 303. In that fight, which was stopped in the second round, Jiri lost by technical knockout. His record stands at 30 wins, five losses, and one draw.
Hill fought in the octagon against the same Pereira in April of this year at UFC 300. That bout, which was halted in the first round, resulted in Jamahal suffering a knockout loss. Hill has 12 wins, two losses, and one no contest in his career.
