UFC Announces Usman vs Buckley for UFC Fight Night 257

A welterweight match between Kamaru Usman and Joaquin Buckley will headline UFC Fight Night 257, taking place on June 14 in Atlanta, USA. This was officially announced by the UFC press service.

Buckley last fought in the octagon against Colby Covington in December 2024 at UFC on ESPN 63. That fight, which was stopped in the third round, ended with Buckley winning by technical knockout. He has a record of 21 wins and six losses.

Usman’s latest fight took place in October 2023 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi. He faced Khamzat Chimaev, who currently represents the UAE. This bout went the full distance, and Usman lost by majority decision. His mixed martial arts record stands at 20 wins and four losses.
