American Top Team Jiu-Jitsu coach Marcos da Matta spoke about the upcoming fight between his ward Arman Tsarukyan and Beneil Dariush, which will take place on the night of December 3 in Austin (USA).
Marcos da Matta
I think Arman is superior to Dariush in everything. He has better wrestling, better striking, they are almost equal in jiu-jitsu, but when Tsarukyan is on top, he tries to finish by aggressive ground-and-pound, and good elbow strikes. Arman sets himself up in a good position and then he starts punching.
Tsarukyan last fought against Joaquim Silva this past June at UFC on ESPN 47. In this confrontation, Arman won by technical knockout in the third round. He has 20 wins and three losses on his record in mixed martial arts.
Dariush last entered the octagon against Charles Oliveira in June of this year at UFC 289. That fight ended with Beneil's defeat by technical knockout in the first round. He has 22 wins, five losses and one draw.
