Top Armenian-Russian UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net revealed why he would be superior to the promotion's current champion Islam Makhachev in their potential rematch.
Arman Tsarukyan
Since our first fight I've really worked hard to improve myself and I've gotten better in all aspects. I think my advantage over Makhachev is my hunger for victories and my youth.
Recall, the first fight between Tsarukyan and Makhachev took place on April 20, 2019 at UFC Fight Night 149 and ended with Islam winning by unanimous decision of the judges.
Arman Tsarukyan's next fight will take place on April 14 at UFC 300. The opponent of the Russian fighter will be former champion Charles Oliveira. The winner of the confrontation should become the next challenger for the championship title.
