Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till posted a video on his social media, talking about his plans after losing to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282.
Darren Till
I think I need to take a little break and try to rethink things. I don't plan to end my career, I'm going to fight. I'll be back after a while, but right now I want to spend Christmas with my family, have a good time with my friends and my team.
Till fought Du Plessis on December 11 at UFC 282 in Las Vegas. The bout ended in a third-round submission in favor of Dricus.
Darren last competed in the UFC Fight Night 191 in September 2021 against American Derek Brunson. In that fight Till was defeated by a choke in the third round. He now has 18 wins, five losses and one draw under his belt.
Du Plessis came to the ring last July against American Brad Tavares at UFC 276. That fight ended in favor of Dricus by unanimous decision of the judges. Now he has 18 wins and two losses under his belt.
