English mixed martial arts fighter Darren Till, who competed in the UFC welterweight division, spoke out on his social media about his dismissal from the promotion.
Darren Till
Hey folks, what's going on out there? I'm still cool with Dana White and Hunter Campbell. I asked the UFC to fire me just to deal with some shit in the near future. They gladly agreed to release me from my contract, and I appreciate that. I'm not going anywhere, I have big plans and I'll be back.
On March 1, it was revealed that Till, 39, is no longer a UFC fighter. Also, the UFC Roster Watch Twitter account reported that Russian Zubaira Tukhugov is also no longer a fighter of the promotion.
Till, 30, fought his last fight under the UFC auspices at No. 282, where he lost by third-round submission to Dricus Du Plessis. It was Darren's third straight loss.
