Former UFC middleweight champion American fighter Sean Strickland has criticized the fees in the promotion and fist-fighting league BKFC.
Boxing News quotes Strickland:
UFC pay is utter garbage. They are signing guys at 10/10 (10k to compete/10k to win). That should be criminal. But the vast majority of BKFC fighters are getting paid way less than that... As a UFC fighter, I advocate for better pay for me and the entire roster. You should do the same for your guys.
Strickland, 33, last stepped into the octagon against Paulo Costa in June 2024 at UFC 302. That confrontation went all five rounds and ended with a split decision victory for Sean.
In January 2024 at UFC 297, Strickland was defeated by Dricus du Plessis by split decision and lost his middleweight championship belt. He has 29 wins and six losses on his record.
