UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling talked about why he often responds to criticism against him on his social media accounts.

I don't care what people say. But I do care about defending my freedom and being able to say they're wrong. So you can say that to me, but I have the freedom and the luxury to respond to you. I do my best to entertain these guys, even though I could just leave it be and walk away. That's it.
Sterling last fought against T.J. Dillashaw this past October at UFC 280. Aljamain won that fight by TKO in the second round. In April of this year, Sterling had his first defense of the light-heavyweight title against the Russian Petr Yan. At the end of five rounds Aljamain won by split decision. He has 22 wins and three losses on his record.
