UFC bantamweight champion American Aljamain Sterling reacted to rumors of Russian Petr Yan's possible leaving the UFC.

I really don't understand his thinking. He could've been a little emotional after the fight, when he hasn't watched it yet - everyone understands that perfectly. It's understandable that he's doing all this work, but the fight isn't going his way. But if you want to progress, you can understand why you lost the fight.
Yan, 29, is currently on a two-fight losing streak. In October 2022 at UFC 280, Petr lost to Sean O'Malley by split decision of the judges. In April of that year at UFC 273, he lost to Aljamain Sterling by split decision. In October 2021, at UFC 267, Yan defeated Cory Sandhagen by unanimous decision. He has 16 wins and four losses under his belt.
