A bout between former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson and Michel Pereira is in the works for June 10 at UFC 289.
It was announced by Sportskeeda on Twitter.
Thompson, 40, fought against compatriot Kevin Holland at UFC on ESPN 42 in December 2022. In this fight Thompson won by TKO in the fourth round. He has 17 wins and six losses under his belt.
Pereira, 29, faced Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Fight Night 206 in May 2022. This fight ended with Michel winning by split decision. Pereira has 28 wins and 12 losses under his belt.
