St-Pierre wants a grappling event with Khabib

Former two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre responded to a question about a possible fight with former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Georges St-Pierre
You know when it's well done, maybe for a good cause, money goes to charity. Maybe I would compete again but not to prove that, not to try to be the strongest man on earth. That I have no interest in doing anymore. But for a grappling event, maybe something like this. I never say never, you know.

Georges St-Pierre had his last fight in November 2017 at UFC 217, defeating Michael Bisping by submission (rear-naked choke) in the third round. In November 2013, Georges faced Johny Hendricks at UFC 167. This confrontation went all five rounds and ended with St-Pierre winning by split decision. He has 26 wins and two losses on his record.

Khabib Nurmagomedov last fought in October 2020 at the UFC 254 tournament against Justin Gaethje. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in Nurmagomedov's favor with a choke hold. After that fight, Khabib announced the end of his career. Nurmagomedov has 29 wins and no losses under his belt.
