Moldovan UFC fighter Sergey Spivak estimated Stipe Miocic's chances in a fight with the promotion's current heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
Championat website quotes Spivak as saying:
Miocic's chances in a fight with Jones? It's a heavyweight division, of course Jones is a higher class. I think he has a better chance. I like Jones, the fact that he has an illustrious career, so many regalia, but I think it would be more correct to vacate the title because Aspinall is an active fighter. Miocic and Jones is a money fight, but how much longer are the guys going to wait for?
Recall that Jones and Miocic were supposed to fight this November at UFC 295, but Jon suffered a torn pectoral muscle and had to withdraw from the fight. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record. Stipe has 20 wins and four losses on his record.
Spivak's last fight was against Ciryl Gane in September of this year at UFC Fight Night 226. In this confrontation Sergey was defeated by technical knockout in the second round. He has 16 wins and four losses on his record.
