According to MMA Mania, citing a source close to the situation, the UFC has offered light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira a match against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 310.
It was previously reported that Palestinian fighter Belal Muhammad withdrew from the event due to an infection in his finger bone. He was set to defend his welterweight title against Kazakhstan's Shavkat Rakhmonov.
Ankalaev last fought against Aleksandar Rakic on October 26 at an event in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Magomed won that fight by unanimous decision. Ankalaev boasts a record of 19 wins, one loss, and one draw, with another fight declared a no contest.
