The Federal Taxation Service (FNS) of Russia has once again blocked the bank account of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov due to his failure to submit his income declaration for 2024 on time, as reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
For context, in 2024, Nurmagomedov’s assets worth 79 million rubles ($920,000) were seized by bailiffs because of a 302 million ruble debt owed to the FNS. A week later, Khabib settled all his debts, returning his assets.
Nurmagomedov last fought in the octagon against Justin Gaethje in October 2020 at UFC 254. This bout, which was stopped in the second round, ended with Khabib winning by technical submission.
Khabib made his UFC debut in January 2012 against Kamal Shalorus. In that fight, which was stopped in the third round, Khabib secured victory via choke hold. His professional record has 29 wins and no losses.
