Nikolay Klimenko exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
This morning, when I woke up, I received a voice message from Alexander Shlemenko saying that he wants this rematch. We will work towards this, contact the managers. By the end of the year, we will see some great fight, some confrontation involving Alexander at RCC. It could be Mousasi, or it could be another top star fighter.
As a reminder, the match between Shlemenko and Mousasi, which took place in October 2017 at Bellator 185, ended in Mousasi's victory by unanimous decision.
The 40-year-old Shlemenko has a record of 64 wins, 15 losses and one draw. The 38-year-old Mousasi has 49 wins, nine losses, and two draws.
