UFC bantamweight number four Cory Sandhagen apologized to the audience for a boring fight after his win over Rob Font in the main event of UFC on ESPN 50.
As a reminder, Sandhagen defeated Font by unanimous decision of the judges.
Cory Sandhagen
Hey Nashville, I wanted to put a more exciting fight on, I’ve been dealing with a lot of elbow problems recently, I think I tore my tricep in the first round. I’m sorry, it was technical as hell. I’m a wrestler now a little bit, so I’m sorry.
Sandhagen, 31, previously fought in the octagon against Marlon Vera at UFC on ESPN 43 in March of this year. In this confrontation, Cory won by split decision of the judges. He has 17 wins and four losses on his record.
