UFC Hall of Famer and former women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has commented on rumors regarding her potential return to the organization.
Rousey said at the Insight podcast:
Every couple years or months, they just - the same rumor comes out. So, you know, it's nice to feel missed, I guess, but yeah, it's not happening. I'm just not neurologically fit to compete anymore at the highest level. I just can't. You just get to a level where the nuerologicial injuries you take accumulate over time.
Rousey's last fight was against Amanda Nunes in December 2016 at UFC 207, where she lost by technical knockout in the first round. Her mixed martial arts record includes 12 wins and two losses.
