Famous UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on the current featherweight champion of the promotion, Ilia Topuria, a Spanish fighter of Georgian descent.
Rogan stated in a recent episode of his podcast:
He doesn’t have any disadvantages. He doesn’t have any weaknesses, man. That’s the thing. That’s why I say he’s the new high-water mark. There’s people that are thinking he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter alive.
Topuria last fought against Max Holloway in October of this year at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). In a bout that was stopped in the third round, Ilia claimed victory by knockout, successfully defending his UFC featherweight title. His record stands at 16 wins with no losses.
