Famous commentator and stand-up comedian Joe Rogan has weighed in on the legacy of UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
Rogan said, as reported by The Sports Rush:
If you just look at the record of accomplishments against champions, you kind of have to put Alex Pereira already in the conversation of potential greatest of all times, which is just so crazy. He’s one of only three two-division champions, right? So it’s a small percentage of people that have achieved that, and he achieved it in record time.
Pereira’s last fight took place in October this year at UFC 307, where he faced American fighter Khalil Rountree.
In that bout, which was stopped in the fourth round, Alex won by technical knockout and defended his title in the light heavyweight division. His record in mixed martial arts stands at 12 wins and two losses.
