Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold shared his thoughts on the upcoming matchup between Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka, scheduled for January 19 at UFC 311 in Los Angeles, USA.
Luke Rockhold for JAXXON
Jamahal Hill’s more dangerous. He’s got pop, he’s got power, he goes for the kill. He’s hard to take down, you [saw] it in the Glover [Teixeira] fight — he was able to get up, get his weight, he funks his way through a lot of things. And he ends up finding his shot, the kill shot. But, like I said, this is a rebuilding process for both of them, and you don’t know. I’m leaning on Jamahal from what I’ve seen lately.
Prochazka last fought against Alex Pereira in June this year at UFC 303, where he lost by technical knockout in the second round. His record includes 30 wins, five losses, and one draw.
Hill faced Pereira in the octagon last in April this year at UFC 300, where he suffered a knockout loss in the first round. Hill’s record stands at 12 wins, two losses, and one fight ruled a no-contest.
