The welterweight title bout between British fighter Leon Edwards and Nigerian Kamaru Usman will headline UFC 286 on March 18 at the O2 Arena in London. The announcement was made by the president of the promotion, Dana White.
Edwards and Usman met for the first time at UFC 278 last August. Their confrontation ended with Leon winning by knockout in the fifth round.
In June 2021, at UFC 263, Edwards defeated Nate Diaz by unanimous decision. Edwards, 31, has 20 wins and three losses under his belt.
Usman, 35, defeated Colby Covington by unanimous decision at UFC 268 in November 2021. He has 20 wins and two losses on his record.
