Popular American rapper Drake revealed on social media that he has placed a big money bet on the fight between UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland, which will take place on the night of September 10 at UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia.
Drake has placed a $500,000 bet on Adesanya winning by knockout with odds of 1.84. If successful, the rap singer will earn $920,000.
Strickland last fought against Abusupiyan Magomedov this past July at UFC on ESPN 48. In this confrontation, Sean won by technical knockout in the second round. He has 27 wins and five losses on his record.
Adesanya last entered the octagon against Alex Pereira in April of this year at UFC 287. Israel won that fight by knockout in the second round. He has 24 wins and two losses on his record.
