The UFC welterweight bout between undefeated Kazakhstani Shavkat Rakhmonov and American Kelvin Gastelum will officially take place on September 16 in the co-main event of the UFC Fight Night series.
It was announced by the president of the league Dana White.
Rakhmonov, 28, defeated Geoff Neal by third round choke at UFC 285 in March 2023. He has 17 wins and no losses under his belt.
Gastelum, 31, defeated Chris Curtis by unanimous judges decision at UFC 287 in April 2023. He has 18 wins and eight losses under his belt.
