Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka reacted to the stoppage during his bout against Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 295 in New York, USA.

I think in the end, it was right; I was out. But I will never stop. For me, it’s a big learning. Let’s work on that and be back stronger than ever.
Recall, Prochazka lost to Pereira by technical knockout in the second round. The Czech missed a punch and got knocked down. Jiri attempted a takedown, but Alex stood his ground and began to land elbow strikes before obtaining a full mount, then landing some more precise punches. At this point referee Mark Goddard stepped in and stopped the fight.
Thus Pereira became the new UFC light heavyweight champion.
