American fighter Dustin Poirier doesn't rule out that his bout against UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 302 on June 2 could be the last fight of his career.
Poirier said on The Fight Bananas Show LIVE:
It could be [my last fight]. I haven't made an official decision yet, but it could be. I've said this over and over again, I still have a lot of tread on the tires I can beat these young guys - I just did it. But how much do I want to give to this sport.
Poirier last fought against Benoit Saint-Denis this past March at UFC 299. In that fight, Dustin won by knockout in the second round. He has 30 wins and eight losses on his mixed martial arts record.
