British UFC lightweight fighter Paddy Pimblett commented on his upcoming clash with American Tony Ferguson, which will take place on December 17 at UFC 296 in Las Vegas (USA).
Pimblett told YouTube channel Energized Show:
I’ll be honest, I don’t see myself being put in the Top 15 after a win against Tony. Bobby Green didn’t, and Bobby Green fought — beat him before I did, you know what I mean? So, I can see me fighting someone like that: Bobby Green, Grant Dawson, you know what I mean? Someone like that to get in the rankings.
Pimblett, 28, last fought against Jared Gordon in December 2022 at UFC 282. In that confrontation, Paddy won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 20 wins and three losses on his record.
Ferguson, 39, last went into the octagon against Bobby Green in July of this year at UFC 291. Tony lost that fight by technical submission in the third round. He has 25 wins and nine losses on his record.
