Green has a brilliant stand-up fight. He's had some brilliant stand-up fights with people.The Jim Miller fight, he stood with Jalen Turner, he stood three rounds with [Rafael] Fiziev and won the last round. People kept talking about that in the build-up to this. So yeah, I was surprised, but as I say, everyone underestimates me just because I look like a 14-year-old girl.
Recall, July 28 in Manchester, Pimblett defeated Green with a first-round choking submission. Pimblett previously entered the octagon in December 2023 at UFC 296, beating Tony Ferguson by unanimous decision. He has 22 wins and three losses on his record.
Green's previous fight was in April 2024 at UFC 300, defeating Jim Miller by unanimous decision. He has 32 wins, 16 losses and one draw on his record. One fight was ruled a no contest.
