A lightweight bout between Britain's Paddy Pimblett and American Tony Ferguson will take place at UFC 296 on December 16 in Las Vegas (USA).
This was announced by UFC CEO Dana White on his social media accounts.
Ferguson last entered the octagon in July 2023 for a fight against Bobby Green at UFC 291. In that confrontation, Tony was defeated in the third round by technical submission (arm triangle choke). He has 25 wins and nine losses on his record.
Pimblett's last fight was against Jared Gordon in December 2022 at UFC 282. Paddy won that fight by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 20 wins and three losses on his record.
