PFL league head Donn Davis said the organization is willing to pay former UFC fighter Nate Diaz $15 million for a rematch against Jake Paul under MMA rules.
Davis said on The MMA Hour show:
One thing about Nate or fighters or entrepreneurs, they’re their own men. They do what they want to do. So I’m just trying to create a canvas that we’re open for business. I just want to leave the light on and I want to say, ‘Here’s $15 million. Here’s Jake. We have all the infrastructure at PFL and we’re easy to work with.’
Recall that Paul and Diaz met in the boxing ring in August. Their fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Jake with a unanimous decision of judges.
Diaz last MMA fight was against Tony Ferguson in September 2022 at UFC 279. In that confrontation, Nate won by choking submission in the fourth round. He has 21 wins and 13 losses on his record in mixed martial arts.
