PFL vice president Ray Sefo has revealed that former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou's debut fight in the league is in the works.
Sefo told sports columnist Kevin Iole:
There have been discussions, Francis has been back in camp for the last few weeks in Las Vegas at Xtreme Couture. That’s in the works and I think we’re just in the midst of trying to finalize where it’s going to be, when the date is, and what kind of timeframe it’s going to take for both athletes to be ready, and we’ll go from there.
Ngannou last fought against Anthony Joshua under boxing rules in March this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In that fight, which was stopped in the second round, Francis was defeated by knockout. He has 17 wins and three losses on his mixed martial arts record.
