The unification bantamweight title fight between Sergio Pettis and Patrick Mix will take place at Bellator 301 on November 18 in Chicago (USA).

In April 2023, Patrick Mix became the winner of the Bellator Grand Prix in the bantamweight division and interim champion of the organization, knocking out Raufeon Stots in the first round of the final. He has a total of 18 wins and one loss on his record.
Pettis defeated Patricio Freire by unanimous decision at Bellator 297 in July. He has 23 wins and five losses on his record.
