Former UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan of Russia will fight against China's Song Yadong on December 9 in the main event of UFC Fight Night. This was announced by Chris Presnell, founder of the MMA Ecosystem website.
Yan, 30, is currently riding a streak of three consecutive losses. In his last fight, which took place in March 2023 at UFC Fight Night 221, he lost to Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision of the judges. Yan has 16 wins and five losses on his record.
Yadong, 25, last stepped into the octagon in April 2023 at UFC on ESPN 45, defeating Ricky Simon by TKO in the fifth round. He has 20 wins and seven losses on his record.
