BKFC star and former UFC fighter Mike Perry has spoken out for the first time about his arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) and insulting police officers. Perry was arrested on October 12 in Florida but was later released on a $1,500 bond.
Perry said on his YouTube channel:
I want to say I'm sorry for talking to those guys like that. I was a little pissed off at the moment. They were hurting my wrists and my shoulders. I'm not going to fight no cops. I'm not doing your sobriety test because I can't stand on one foot anyways. I have no balance. I'm not going to play your games. I cussed them out, but I apologized for that. And I guess I was just driving a little too fast.
As a reminder, in July 2024, Perry suffered a technical knockout loss to Jake Paul in the MVP: Fear No Man boxing event, which marked his second boxing defeat. However, Perry has six wins (three by knockout) in bare-knuckle boxing without a single loss.
