Former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira, now competing in the light heavyweight division, has indicated his interest in having a title bout.
Alex Pereira, quoted by UFC Russia
Yeah, I should fight for the title. Because I just won the toughest fight in the division, performed well against a former champion. As for the opponent - I do not care.
Recall, on the night of July 30, Pereira won by a split decision over former light heavyweight champion Pole Jan Blachowicz. At the moment, the division belt is vacant, as the former champion Jamahal Hill vacated it due to injury.
Pereira, 36, has eight wins and two losses under his belt.
