We were talking with the UFC to make this fight in Brazil. Then they came up with the idea to bring it a little earlier and make it on UFC 300, which for me is a good thing because I've already been training hard.
Pereira's last fight was against Jiri Prochazka in November 2023 at UFC 295. He secured a technical knockout victory in the second round, claiming the vacant light heavyweight championship. With nine wins and two losses to his name, Pereira is gearing up to face former light heavyweight champion Jamal Hill at the upcoming event.
