UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira may have a fight at the 301st UFC tournament on May 4th in Rio de Janeiro if he successfully defends his title against Jamahal Hill. This was reported by former MMA fighter Josh Thomson.
The bout between Pereira and Hill on April 14 will headline the milestone UFC 300 tournament.

I also heard that if what's-his-name gets out of the Jamahal- the 300, he wants to be on that card, Alex Pereira. I guess apparently that was the part of his contract negotiation if he gets the win and comes out healthy that he’s allowed to fight on that fight card. That was apparently part of his agreement to fighting on 300.
The 36-year-old Pereira last fought in November 2023 at UFC 295, defeating Jiri Prochazka by technical knockout in the second round. He has nine wins and two losses.
The 32-year-old Hill has not stepped into the octagon since January 2023 when he defeated Glover Teixeira by unanimous decision at UFC 283. He has 12 wins and one loss on his record.
