UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has spoken out about Israel Adesanya, who is rumored to fight middleweight division champion Dricus Du Plessis on August 17 at UFC 305.

Adesanya last stepped into the octagon in September 2023 at UFC 293, losing to Sean Strickland by unanimous decision. He has 24 wins and three losses on his record.
